1. Rachael Ostovich is 29 years old: 

She was born on 21st February 1991 with the birth name of Rachael Ostovich Berdon. Her nationality is American. She was born in Hawaii, USA.  The American MMA fighter holds the American nationality and embraces her mixed ethnicity. 

Her birth sign is Pisces. Her father’s name is Robert Ostovich while her mother’s information is not disclosed.

A 29-year-old MMA fighter, Rachael has maintained her body structure muscular and fit with a strict diet and regular workout. She has a height of 5′ 3”and weighs around 57kg.

At IFC, she set a record of 2 wins and two losses. Then, she joined the Ultimate Fighter 26 and was able to reach in the quarterfinals but lost the match against Barb Honchak by decision.

In her professional career, she has set a record of 4 wins and 5 losses. On 19 January 2019, Rachael Ostovich was supposed to face off against Paige VanZant, but she was pulled out from competing as she was assaulted by her husband. Ostovich’s manager, Brian Butler-Au, issued this statement on Nov. 20,  “A very unfortunate incident occurred Sunday night with Rachael Ostovich that ended with her suffering a fractured orbital and other injuries. As a result of these injuries she will not be able to compete in her upcoming bout with Paige VanZant on January 19th.” Butler-Au continued, “Rachael is now home from the hospital with her family and will be going back for further check ups on her orbital. We would like to thank the UFC for all their support on this matter as well as the fans and media for your concern.”     

However, the fight was rescheduled, and she lost the fight through submission in the second round.

Scrolling through her Instagram, the MMA fighter has a lavish lifestyle. From her dress up to holiday destinations, it all seems to be expensive. 4. Domestic abuse, restraining order, and divorce: 

Rachael Ostovich went viral for all the wrong reasons when her husband violently assaulted her with a fractured orbital bone and other major injuries in 2018. 

Rachael was married to Arnold Berdon in 2016. They welcomed their daughter Ruby Rose in 2013.

As time passed by, everything changed in 2018. Her husband violently assaulted her with a fractured orbital bone and she was rushed to the hospital and had to stay overnight. 

Just a year later, she filed a temporary restraining order against Berdon. At the end of the year, fellow UFC fighter and her ex-husband Berdon was charged for second-degree assault and was sentenced to four-year probation in a domestic assault in the Honolulu court. 

Rachael’s divorce procedure was filled with full custody of their daughter. 

5. TMZ reported that Berdon intended to claim he was attacked first:

According to TMZ, Berdon initially argued that he was attacked by Berdon first, and that he was only trying to defend himself when Ostovich sustained her injuries. Neither Berdon nor Ostovich has made a public statement about her injuries or restraining order.

6. Ostovich & Berdon were married in April, 2016:

Ostovich and Berdon married one another in April of 2016, in a ceremony that appeared to include their loved ones. Little is known about their wedding, besides the fact that they were married on April 4, 2016.

7. Full custody of her daughter: 

Ostovich and ex-husband Berdon had their daughter long before they were married. Their daughter Ruby Rose is often present in Ostovich’s photos online, and appears to have been in Hawaii at the time of the alleged domestic abuse incident.   

On 18th November 2018, Ostovich was attacked in Honolulu where she was left with an orbital injury. As reported, the perpetrator is her husband, Arnold Berdon, an MMA fighter. She filed and was soon provided with a temporary restraining order against Berdon effective until May 19, 2019.

On 20th November 2019, Berdon was charged for second-degree assault. Later, he was released on a bail of $75,000. Currently, the case is under investigation under the Honolulu Police Department. 

Nevertheless, Berdon pleads not guilty in connection with the case. On May 16, 2019, Berdon was sentenced to four-year probation in a domestic assault, in a Honolulu court. Ostovich’s divorce procedure was filed with full custody of their daughter.

8. MMA career:

In 2010, Ostovich started her amateur MMA career. By 2013, she compiled an undefeated record of 6-0. In January 2014, she made her professional career debut in Hawaii. Before joining Invicta Fighting Championship in December, she had a record of 1-1.

On December 1, 2017, Ostovich faced Karine Gevorgyan at The Ultimate Fighter 26 Finale, winning her debut fight. However, she lost the following fight via a rear-naked choke in round three to Montana De La Rosa. On January 19, 2019, she was defeated by Paige VanZant at UFC Fight Night: Cejudo vs. Dillashaw.

Since January 2020, she is suspended by USADA for eight months after testing positive for Ostarine and GW1516. The outlawed substance was found in her supplement which was not listed on the supplement label.
